Why do I even bother to set goals for my schoolwork? I never make them. Never.
I have 9 readings I'm going to be tested on on Thursday (and of course I'm behind) so the plan was to read 3 Monday, 3 Tuesday, and 3 Wednesday. Sounds good enough, right? Well it's now 15 minutes to Wednesday and I JUST finished reading my 3rd article.
Why do I do this to myself?! /sigh
I'm such a bad student. No focus. No drive. No self-discipline. It's probably because I'm so over college it's not even funny. I can't wait to get out of this place. Can't wait!!
2 more years and I'm gone! (well hopefully...)

PushMyButton
You know when you watch standup comedy and there is always that one person who laughs a little too loud? The joke is usually funny but their laughter is borderline (or over the line) obnoxious? Well that's exactly what I'm dealing with in my summer class.
No matter how funny or unfunny the teacher's jokes are this girl laughs and laughs and laughs. At first it entertained the class but now it's just straight-up annoying. What makes it worse is that she makes unnecessary comments (which I'm sure she thinks of as jokes) and LAUGHS AT THOSE TOO! sheesh.
I know the class is laid-back and the teacher wants us to have a good time but your laughter makes everything not fun. Everything.
So please. stfu.
Button pushed.

Diagnosis
I just went to the doctor's office and was told that I have indeed come down with something. It's not deadly and only slightly contagious but if I don't take care of it soon it could turn into something much worse. I have FIADD: Finals Induced Attention Deficit Disorder.
As the title says it strikes before and during finals week. Symptoms are:
Luckily my case is only in it's middle stage so it can be remedied. My doctor prescribed frequent doses of reading and end-of-the-chapter exercise problems, timed breaks, no more than 1 hour naps to rejuvenate, and delicious but healthy snacks to keep me energized while I work. It's not going to be easy but my doctor reassured me that a full recovery is just around the bend.
