So if we're gonna "keep it real," let's keep it real.

I've found out... no, scratch that. I've rediscovered the harrowing truth of the age old saying,

Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

Whoever came up with this is a genius.

No matter what I do, what I say, who I call or WHO I INVITE someone is going to be displeased, disappointed, angered, disgruntled or any other word that translates into unhappy.

To some extent it bothers me. Who doesn't want those around them to be happy? But at the end of the day all I can do is continue to use my best judgement and deal with what comes of it. I mean, what other option is there? Oh wait. I know! Sit back, relax and recite yet another genius line:

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

RightNow...

I'm doing nothing and enjoying every second of it.

As easy as it is to hate the world, yell, "FAWWWK THIS!" and lose all faith in anything working out I must admit that of all the things I prayed for, the truth is the one I wanted the most. And as proven by today, is the thing I got first.

This is what I get for hoping for #3. But alas, with this comes a lesson learned.

Be careful what you wish for.
