Someday...

cough-cough. sneeze-sneeze.

This is basically how I've been since Sunday.



Sneezing, coughing, headache, fever, and anything else that comes with the flu. I try not to complain, I really do, but I can't stand how weak and helpless I feel. And to top things off the start of school is just around the corner. But hey... at least it's not final's week, right?

Can you believe that my first time actually listening to this song was a couple days ago?! I knew it existed but before now I couldn't even recite the chorus. It doesn't surprise me in the least that I love it but once I found out R.Kelly wrote it it made the song a little creepy. Time has shown that in his mind age really is only a number. Even if that number is 15...

Faith is hard to have especially when it's needed most. But to have everything fall out of place is just as hard so instead of worrying I'm going to close my eyes, breath deeply, and imagine how life would be if it all worked out and then hold onto that feeling with the hope that when I wake up tomorrow morning what I had hoped to be true is now what I know to be true.

So may it all work out. For the sake of my sanity.

Today, after work, I realized I needed a couple things from the store so I grabbed my reuseable shopping bags, changed into my I ♥ UCR shirt, and headed out the door. On my way back, while waiting to cross the street, a large black SUV drove past me. I didn't get the make or even notice who was in it but I did hear a young man yell,

"I heart RCC!!!"

Well dude, I'm happy for you.

Crush List - Celebrity Edition

I've never been one to worship celebrities. Granted I do have an idea of who wore what and who dates who thanks to Yahoo homepages, checkout stand magazines, and Chelsea Lately but still, I never was and probably never will be the one to have a "celebrity crush." I'm more likely to obsess about a guy I passed on the street than one I watched in a movie. I do, however, have eyes. =)

1. Shia LaBeouf

The closest I've ever gotten to a typical celeb crush. I loved watching him on Even Stevens but his loveliness wasn't apparent until Holes. Needless to say he's talented, funny, and one of the few child actors who seems to be going (to positive) places. And he has green eyes!

2. Jeff Goldblum

I didn't notice him until I watched Independence Day a couple years back and I have been swooning ever since. He's much older than me but like Aaliyah said, "Age ain't nothing but a number."

3. Anderson Cooper

Yes, he's older. Yes, he's gay. But no, that doesn't make me like him any less. Ms. Winfrey introduced him into my world a couple years back and I've, again, been swooning since. His onstage persona is adorable. You'd think I'd be glued to Anderson 360 but I don't care that much. hahahah
